From Foothills Christian Church:
Thanks to the Regional Congregational Vitality Grant, we installed a perimeter fence around our new pickleball court, dramatically improving safety and usability. Players no longer spend more time chasing balls than playing, and multiple groups can now use the court simultaneously.

Since the fence went up, usage has steadily increased and is picking back up with the onset of nicer weather. Congregation members and community partners, including AA, OneNTen, the Autism Society Young Adult Support Group, and a Girl Scouts Troop are regularly holding games and activities. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with partners noting that the court is now safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all ages.
Youth volunteers built picnic tables nearby, further enhancing the space for fellowship and relaxation. The project has strengthened congregational engagement, encouraged intergenerational connection, and created a welcoming hub for our neighborhood.
